Nutrition Tip of the Month: Portion Control
Proper Food Portions for Weight Management and Weight Reduction When eating out: 1. Share a plate with someone else 2. When your food is brought to the table, ask to have half of your meal wrapped ina doggie bag to take home When eating at home: 1. Eat dinner on a salad plate to help with portion control. 2. Chew slowly 3. Before going for a seceond helping, ask yourself, "Am I still hungry?" 4. Try to avoind buying unhealthy snacks, even if they are for the kids. You just may be tempted to eat some of them.
